The qualification course for applicants seeking a tourist-guide license across Syria has begun with 76 trainees from different governorates who passed the preliminary tests and interviews. The six-week program includes 120 training hours covering Syrian heritage, major tourism routes, professional guiding techniques and field visits to heritage and tourism sites. Successful participants will receive a professional license after completing the theoretical and practical training, supporting tourism recovery and higher professional standards.
